There's nothing better than ripping open new packaging to reveal the product you've been oggling for so long. I already sang praises for the new, incredibly exciting 2015 makeup collections and innovations debuting this year. But these, my friends, are the lovely products that transform my eyes into little hearts, and my soul into that dancing flamenco dancer emoji chick.
Check out the products that I'm itching to cross off my wish list:
Hourglass Modernist Eyeshadow Palettes ($58)- Hourglass does it again with yet another gorgeous palette to add to their arsenal. The ambient lighting powder palette and ambient blush palette blew me away and I'm sure this one will too. Seven different palettes are available with 5 shades merged together in a stunning gradient effect. I love the wave pattern that looks like the ebbing and flowing of the ocean on the shore.
Real Techniques Bold Metals Brush Collection (prices vary on brushes)- When I first laid internet eyes on these stunners, it was over. My rose gold obsession paired with super soft brushes--and my favorite brush brand at that? Sold. I love how modern and clean-cut these are with their pointed ends.
NARS Dual Intensity Eyeshadow Palette ($79-limited edition)- I declared my love for these around the time they first came out as mere singles. Oh, how they grow up *tear. Now NARS is tantalizing us with 8 of these masterpiece, intensely pigmented, metallic shadows in a combined set. Buying one of these eyeshadows as a single will set you back a good $29. That means that if you bought 8 singles it would be a whopping $232 dollars. This palette is $79. Thank you, makeup gods on high.
Anastasia Beverly Hills Liquid Lipsticks ($20)- After seeing Jaclyn Hill swatch every color on her lips, I'm waiting with baited breath to kidnap one of these babies as my own. They go on like a lipgloss in liquid form and then dry to a matte, long-wearing finish. The range of colors is absolutely stunning.
Kat Von D Shade + Light Contour Palette ($46)- This palette comes with 3 shades for highlighting and 3 shades for contouring. So basically another rendition of the original Anastasia Beverly Hills Contour Palette. Even though they are very similar in structure it looks like this one has a contour color that would even suit much darker skin tones. The Anastasia equivalent only suits fair to medium skin tones so it's nice to see a palette that can cater to a wider variety of skin colors.
